 IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MEDAL
This year, every 20K finisher will receive a BIG, HONKIN' Penguin medal. Why not? A 20K is just ONE little kilometer short of a 1/2 marathon. You DESERVE a medal for running that far. After you run a flat and fast course with 12 fluid stations there'll be a ROCKIN' DJ and refreshments at the finish line.

We want every participant in the Chicago Distance Classic to know that our #1 priority is giving them a safe race where they can do THEIR best. We'll have self-seeded corrals for the speed demons and "Balloon Cuties" at the back so that NO ONE finishes last. Clydesdale runners can compete against others in their weight class.
