Hot Shoe Running Photo Page
Originally a simple metal bracket, the "hot shoe" is also called "accessory shoe" and has nothing to do with running. It is indeed a simple and convenient way to attach the flash unit to the photographic camera: You only need to slide the mounting foot of the flash into the hot shoe. What a great name and what a lucky coincidence for us. When we decided to open this webpage dedicated to the best running images, we could not choose a more appropriate title for it.
