Run The Planet is proud to offer this unusual webpage featuring pedestrian, hiking and running related street signs from around the world. It is not only a photographical collection for those in love with the details of traveling, or for those concerned with safety while running abroad: "World Crossroads" is also what the title states, a crossroads where the different cultures meet, where international road symbols, grouped together, lose their specific value to become a representation of the simplest and most universal way of moving, which is transportation by foot.
Run The Planet would like to thank Andrea Bartalesi, Paolo De Zordo, Adam Rasheed, Dmitrii Zagorodnov, Alan Hamilton (www.arizonaroads.com), the Trent-Fleming Trail Studies Unit (www.trentu.ca/academic/trailstudies), Joe Maller, Aaron Bishop (worldwideshoes.org), The City of Richmond (www.city.richmond.bc.ca), Brian Iverson, Ivan Bianchini, J.M. Francillon, Bob (www.bangkokbob.net), and Hélio Augusto Ferreira Fontes for the precious cooperation.
