City of Trees Marathon - November. The City of Trees Marathon course is a beautiful loop course starting and ending at the Owyhee Plaza, race headquarters. It takes runners on Warm Springs Road, one of Boise's most beautiful and historic neighborhoods, around Camel's Back Park, along Hill Road to show the rural nature of Boise, past Memorial Stadium, onto Overland Road and it finishes taking runners down Vista, around the train depot, down Capitol with our majestic capital building in view of the finishers. Along the course will be dozens of local entertainers from school marching bands to dance companies to club bands. The race is USATF certified and sanctioned and will be used by many marathoners to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
