St. George

St. George Marathon - October. This marathon is on a downhill course, starting at approximately 5200 feet and ending at 2600 feet. The race starts just west of the majestic Pine Valley Mountains in Central Utah. Listed as one of the most scenic courses in the United States by Runner's World, it winds down through beautiful meadows, past the towering red rock formations of Snow Canyon State Park, and into the scenic, friendly city of St. George. There is a 4,000-participant cap put on the race, so applications need to be sent in as soon as they are received. (Applications are sent out approximately May 1.)
