Guadalajara is the second largest city in whole Mexico, with five millions people of population, 1457 meters above sea level, with a warm weather. It has an international marathon every February as part of the celebrations of the fundation of the city, and has several races from half marathons to 5k around the year. Guadalajara is part of Mexico and the capital of the state of Jalisco. Guadalajara has a beautiful forest in the city known as "Colomos" where you can run among the trees in two courses of 5k. One of them is concrete and the more visited one is plain terrain. You will be surrounded by Mother Nature and also wonderful sculptures donated by important artists from whole Latin America. Every visitor of Guadalajara that has the habit of jogging, enjoys a lot running or jogging in this place. Outside Guadalajara there is another forest known as "Primavera" (translated as "Spring season"). It has several trails that are visited mainly in weekends, for a long run, maybe 15/20 or more kilometers.
