While in Sarajevo, a great run is to start at the "Parliment" located at the end of Old Town. If you start at the historic location of where Arch Duke Ferdinand was shot and run straight for the hills. You will end up running along the river where the old Turkish fort guarded by Italians will overlook as you run. The best time to run is 6am-8am as the route is free from traffic and many fellow runners are out and about. Do stay on the cement, if you didn't drop it, don't pick it up, and the goats only bite you if you run slow!
