There used to be a 5 km marked trail along Queens Way in the Marina District (along the Singapore River and ocean near the high rise hotels such as the Marina Mandarin, Pan Pacific, etc.). More recent construction, such as the new opera building and several apartment complexes, has chopped off some of the course, but it still can be used for about 4 km stretches. My favorite time is between 6am and 7am before sunrise and the heat of the day. Be forewarned that much of the run is on red tiles rather than dirt.
