I like the parc des Buttes Chaumont in the east. It offers both paved and dirt paths and some nice hills. The closest metro stations are M° Jaurès and M° Colonel Fabien. I think that it's a safe place to run but I still suffered some catcalling and harrassment from some of the men maintaining the grounds... I suppose there is nowhere that we are free from that. On a typical day you will encounter mothers with their children, people practicing yoga, reading, painting, and yes, even the occasional runner.
