In downtown, it is possible to run around the many lakes. This is used by many runners, and is totally car free zone. Only few miles away from the city center, is it possible to run on the ramparts from World War I. Loops on distances from 1k-8k can also be done around the many ponds in Copenhagen. Copenhagen's many tracks can be used free of charge.
