For people who enjoy running a circuit, there is always the Sudfriedhof (South Cemetery), near to SendlingerTor U-Bahn. This is a lovely peaceful spot with compressed earth paths (i.e. low impact surface) that attracts a few joggers, good for a morning run as the gates open at 6:30 am year round. An excellent spot to see the seasons change. If you follow the outer perimeter path around both sections of the graveyard that is around 2.3 kilometers. Don't worry about gatecrashing any funerals either, this place more fits the category of picturesque relic of a bygone era than a working graveyard.
