The beach on the northern shore of Provo is a great place to run. The beach is along Grace Bay; the sand is fairly hard in the tidal areas and it stretches for 13 miles (run a marathon and do the whole length of it)! There are resorts every now and then but it is not crowded at all. A run along the beach in the evening will yield a great view of the sunset!
