Get out to Kowloon side and take a run through Sai Kung Country Park. Favorite runs are Section 1 and 10 of the McLehose Trail. Section 1 starts at Pak Tam Chung, Sai Kung Country Park. Paved road and rolling hills along a reservoir and coast - about 10k one way. If you're feeling up to it, continue on the trail and take a dip at Long Kei Wan beach (if you continue on Section 2, it's another 15k with a couple of good hills and some trail running thrown in, you can either catch a cab back to Pak Tam Chung or walk back downhill for another 5k). Section 10 is a beautiful, relatively flat, trail run along the Shing Mun Reservoir, start backwards at the end from Tuen Mun, also about 10k one way. Maps of the MacLehose Trail can be obtained from the Government Publications Office next to Pacific Place, Admiralty Mtr. Last pick is a 10-20k run (depending on how far you go) along the Sai Kung Coast, through a mangrove, to a little village. Hard to explain the exact place to get on it, but it is on Sai Sha Road at the end of Section 3 of the MacLehose Trail (it is indicated on the map by a trail along the catchwater branching off the mail trail). Grab a cab or you can park at Kei Ling Ha Lo Wai.
