Ikoyi Island in Lagos is the most pleasant running area, residential, with tree-shaded roads. There is water on three sides. Begin on any road that follows the water. You will gradually curve around. Use Kingsway Road or Thompson Road to finish the circle. Caution: do not run at night. Always yield to cars: they have absolutely no regard for pedestrians.
