Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, is the largest area of urban parkland in western Europe. It is eight miles around the perimeter. The park includes forested areas, six lakes, largely traffic free roads and miles of trails. The park also plays host to the National 12 stage road relay championships, on the last week in April, where Britains finest do battle on the testing course of alternating 3 and 5.4 mile legs.
