I recommend you pay a visit to the Stormont Estate, the site of Stormont buildings in Dundonald on eastern outskirts of Belfast. There is a three and a half mile lap of the grounds starting at the main gate, taking in forest trails, hills, flat running and some breathtaking scenery. Park at the main gate and start running. Take a left as you enter the gate and head for the trees! There is a well marked forest trail that will wind its way to the main parliament buildings themselves from where there is a great view. The way down is a chance to catch your breath but half way down take a left and head towards the civil sevice sports pitches. Run the perimeter of these to give a fast flat section of the run before rejoining the trail back to the main gates. If you are feeling energetic do another lap!!!
