If you have got a car then you can go to Proaza (30 minutes by car at South West of Oviedo). Some kilomters before Proaza is where the "senda del oso" (bear's path) starts, another beautiful place to run. Twentyfive kilomters long, it was an old railway path passing thru deep gorges. It goes parallel to the river and to the road. In the middle (more or less) there is a park with a pair of bears that couldn't adapt to the wild life (they mother was killed by an illegal hunter when they were very young). Bicycles allowed. A lamp is recommended - but not necessary - because there are some tunnels and one or two are a bit long and curved.
