There are a few favorite running routes in Panama City. One of the most popular is Avenida Balboa. This is a sea-side avenue that borders the Pacific Ocean. The view, the lack of street crossings, the fresh breeze, and the salty smell of the sea make it very attractive for most people. Another popular running place is the Hector Gallegos Park, a municipal park of large extension and with a paved sidewalk for running and biking.
