The usual place in Panama City where people go jogging is The Causeway, simply because that's the place people in the capital like to go for jogging or riding bicycle (you can rent them there too). It is a nice strip of a couple (2-5) kilometers joining three islands (with palm trees) at the entrace of the Panama Canal, therefore you can see the ships coming in and out of the Pacific side of the Panama Canal, and get a good view of the Bridge of the Americas as well as enjoy a nice sundown. This is in the former Canal Zone, the place is safe.
