Around Temaiku, 50-50 tarmac-gravel. Some tree shade. Mostly rural. Fantastic views running beside the sea & breaking waves. Take a bus to the start of the Temaiku road (where the 90 degree bend is). Run along the gravel road beside the sea, past the end of the runway, keep going till you hit the sealed road, turn left, back past the other end of the runway, past the airport terminal, back to the start. Medium length.
