In Amsterdam there are a lot of nice running possibilities. In the centre there is the "Vondelpark" a relatively small 100 years old park with two different routes one of 2 km and one of 3.3 km. Independent of your running qualities there is another just as good as you are. Another possibility is running along the river Amstel. Only in the very center of Amsterdam this is not really possible. It is great when is hot and you want to do some kilometers. Other possibilities are: Amsterdamse Bos (South near VU-university) tracks up to 21.1 km; Sloterplas West around a small lake, a 6 km round; all the other parks are suitable: Flevopark (east), Rembrandtpark (west).
