Just run on the street. You can run from the main square (Zocalo) to Chapultepec (6-7 km) through Reforma Avenue. Don't carry any valuables (just in case) and enjoy one of the nicest streets in the city. Every weekend there are road races somewhere in the city. It's not easy to find out where, but you can try "Superforma" a running store in Polanco (Mariano Escobedo street). They sure would have some information.
