Take a relaxing, flat run along the southside of the Otra River. You can't miss it since it runs right through the city and empties into the sea. Once you are in Kristiansand (population 60,000) you can also ask for directions to either Jagersberg (Hunters's Hill) or Baneheia. Both are extensive running trails in the middle of forest areas and lakes, and loaded with hills. Baneheia is only a few minutes jog from downtown Kristiansand.
