The most scenic area to run in Teagu is Apsan Mountain beginning near the intersection of road 57 and 24 when 24 becomes 22. Be sure to carry an empty water bottle to fill at the Buddhist temple located about 1Km from the base of the mountain. The trail continues up the mountain to the very top where there are several restaurants. You may purchase a beverage from the restaurants and continue your ascension. At the top of the first ridge you may either go right, which will take you to the valley and connect up with Road 22, or go left and end up at Road 13. On 13 turn left to go back into the heart of Teagu. The best time to run the mountain is at dust because the Buddhist place candles in every rock and crevice which is quite beautiful. The view of Teagu from the ridges is very beautiful. There is the river to run along also that runs along Road 11 that leads to the Highway 1 the will take you to Seoul (North) or Pusan (South).
