My new town is Narathiwat in the Thai/Malaysian border province of the same name. Here a run to the beach in the early morning can be followed by a swim in the warm South China Sea. There is either a 3k run to the north part of the town or a 10k or 20k run to the southern beaches of Ao Manao and beyond past the Royal Palace to the deserted beaches of muslim fishing villages. A glorious place to run under palm trees.
