Parks in Lyon: Tête d'Or park, spreading over 262 acres, with a design inspired by English gardens; the Parc des Hauteurs which overlooks the city and the Gerland Confluent park created along the banks of the Rhône. A path runs from here to the other side of the city as the City Internationale. The Tête d'Or park is not only Lyon's largest expanse of greenery but also the largest urban park in all of France. the "green heart" of the city. It has become a favorite site for family strolls or a quiet jog sheltered from the hubbub of the city.
