I've been staying in Munich for past 7 years. There are several good running spots on offer. The obvious choice beeing the path along the Isar (river that goes through the city). Starting from Thalkirchen (take the subway U3/U6) you can go on a 7,5 km run up towards the railway bridge at Grosshesselslohe (up river). You have a brilliant sight of the bridge. Alternatively you can run towards the city (5 km down the river). There are a lot of cyclists, joggers & skaters to add to the beautiful scenery.
