The best place to walk and run in Addis Ababa is from the railway station up to the city hall. The road is called Cherchil Godana (Road). Or take the Asmara Road. I don't recomend to run in Addis, as the roads are not good: some roads don't have the pavement and the roads are crowded, but if you decide to do so, go to the the park in front of Oau Park (good garden) and see also the stadium area.
