When staying at the Avari or the Intercontinental, I have found the local park excellent for running - Lawrence Bagh or Jinnah Bagh, depending on which name you want to use. It is only a couple of minutes from each hotel and provides a mixture of concrete path and some trails. I reckon you can find a perimeter loop of two miles or so with some imagination. Best early in the morning.
