Few places are so magnificent for running as the Noosa Heads National park, about 100 km North of Brisbane. The tracks are rugged although well maintained and with plenty of other runners to keep you company. The circular track (approximately 12k) shifts from the coastal cliffs to the dry eucalyptus forests and is challenging because of the climbs, sand and sharp turns. Where else can you run, see koalas, have a dip on the beach in the Pacific Ocean and end up in front of a great patisserie in just an hour? One of my old time favourites!!
