If you want a more scenic route, when you get to the top of Clough road, right before the hill evens out to flat road again, if you take a right, there is a path through the woods that leads around to the left past the power station and if you take a right at the rocky path and go through the woods, you will eventually end up at the Western Hills Public Golf Course; beware - they kick you off the course if they see you so either go really early when noone is there or keep a low-key status. Also, it is considered trespassing to go onto power station grounds but no one is ever there so don't worry :) Have fun!
