Another good route is the path along the Lade Braes (following the course upstream of the Kinness Burn). Enter small path just south of Shell garage opposite West Port. After 2 km of tree-lined paths you turn left and head uphill towards Craigtoun Park via Lumbo Den through grassy fields and along the edge of the Duke's Course (golf course, privately owned). Path is signposted.
