Another more complex route starts at Schloss Solitude (10km west of the center). With the mansion behind you, you go south crossing the highway and enter the forest. Run straight for about 2km till "Planhaus" then turn right and go straight for another 1.3km till you reach a stretch of 3 linked lakes. You can chose to surround all of them or less and then go back or have a drink at the tiny "Baerenschloessle" first. The length of the trail thus depends on how many of the lakes you take and how many detours you make. Better have a quick look at a map before you start. You can best reach Solitude by car. There is a bus (# 92), too, but with a very poor timetable.
