There is a lovely run starting in Blackrock and onto Passage West. This is a very pleasant run/walk alongside the River Lee, with a wide footpath and mostly treelined. It crosses over the under ground Jack Lynch Tunnel at the centre stage. I'm not sure how many miles it is but one could always run on past Passage West if looking for a very long run.
