Some nice 25k. Take a train/metro to Gesundbrunnen (Pankow). Jump out of there, and start running south at Humboldthain park. Run round and climb to the bunker, shocking relic! Descend and head to Hussitenstrasse, cross over it and left at Gartenstrasse. It was part of the frontier side time ago, heading south towards Nordbanhof, Torstrasse (right here) and Friedrichstrasse. At Unter den Linden turn right, pass under Brandemburger Tor, right again for the Reichstag, and left along the paths of Tiergarten. There should be some water although I could not find it. When you pass the Bellevue, right to a nice path along the left side of the river Spree. You go west the whole time. You have to leave a nice orange building (after a bridge) and then look for an escape to the left. You appear in the 17 Juni again (whatever you do). Right there, to Ernst-Reuter Platz. Now, straight Otto-Suhr Allee, and you reach the Charlottemburg Castle, and Spandauerdamm. Turn left at a square (Klausenerplatz). There is water here. Take Danckelmannstrasse for half a mile and then right at Knobelsdorff. All straight and uphill along Platanenalee (such a lesson of architecture). After some 20 minutes you are in the Olimpischerplatz. There you can take again the subway. Bring a map with you. Useful to take a one-day ticket for all transportation. Cheers.
