Luebeck-Stockelsdorf is just north of the famous marzipan and Hanseatic League city Luebeck, north of Hamburg. I enjoy running on asphalt and have measured about every major street in this small suburb. The main drag is the Lohstrasse that runs from the center of Stockelsdorf to its border. The street is 2,5 km long. They just renovated the sidewalks and the Loh is now a great running path! Stockelsdorf is a quiet suburb and although the Loh is a major street, there are no bad fumes or traffic jams. These runs will take you through residential areas, streets and vegetation. A 6 km run would be: start at the Lohstrasse / corner Ahrensbok Strasse (Penny Markt). Run the Loh till its end, turn left at the light up the hill (about 500 meters). At the next cross street (Rensefelder) turn left and keep ago until the end (this is the north parallel street to the Loh). Now turn left again and down Ahrensbok street until you get to Penny Markt (where you started).
