The "parque grande" at Zaragoza (Primo de Rivera Park) is just in front of the soccer stadium Romareda, and behind the hospital, as you head out the road to Valencia. There's a good ground course, posted every 100 meters, which you can combine with the 2,500 meters perimeter of the park (total 4k). The inside loop, almost a mile, is totally flat. The outside one has a 60 meters uphill and a softy 150 meters downhill. Lights for evening running and several fountains; ground soil along the most of the course. Both courses are very popular among Zaragoza's runners, with no traffic and nice greenery. Ideal for slow tempos or interval at early morning or late in the afternoon, when you've got little time to spend. The park and city in general is quite safe and there's no danger at any time of the day. In windy days, the inside course is quite protected. Architectural stuff available for stretching and gym exercises.
