Pampulha lagoon is the best place for running in Belo Horizonte. The course is about 18k long and every year the “Volta da Pampulha” international race takes place there. The course around the lagoon is flat and we can see some Belo Horizonte tourist attractions like Mineirão and Mineirinho stadiums and São Francisco de Assis church. It is very pleasant to run around the lagoon and I recommend it to all runners that come to Belo Horizonte.
