I recommend the Horto Florestal de Rio Claro (official name is "Florestal Edmundo Navarro de Andrade", phone: 019-524.7915, address: Av. Navarro de Andrade s/nº, Rio Claro - SP). The park has many dirt paths options until 6 miles (some with hills) under the shadows of the trees and surrounded by luxuriant vegetation. There are marks each 500 meters. It is also a good place for mountain biking because it is closed to motor vehicles. In a 1,752 hectares area, the Horto has a snack bar (sometimes closed), lake and Eucalyptus Museum.
