If you're feeling adventurous or really don't like running along Malawian roads try turning left on Mzimba Road up a steeper hill and turning down a dirt track on your right near the top of the hill. This takes you past some Parks buildings and the road turns into a trail which if you have a good sense of direction will take you back onto Kenyatta near the bottom of the hill referred to in the earlier route. Coming from City Centre/Capital Hill area I don't know of any trails that you can use so choose a road route that will take you south onto Youth Drive and then run east on Youth Drive to get to the Sanctuary entrance. There is a nominal entrance fee for the Sanctuary so take a few Kwacha with you on your run.
