For really scenic running, go where Woolf, Russell, Wittgenstein, Keanes, Forster and countless other celebrities used to go: along the river Granta to historic Grantchester. From the city centre, find your way across the Sheep's Green and Lamma's Land to Newnham Village; there find the footpath to Grantchester (you might need a map or ask locals). If you feel like a break there, tea at the Orchard Tea Garden is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
