Nidda Park (also known as "Buga-Gelände", as it used to be the site of the National Garden Fair), slightly north-west from the city centre, is a wide, landscaped park with fields, forests and a distinct countryside feel unexpected in such a central location. Take subway U7 to Hausen or U1 to Niddapark. From the park, you can run on along the river Nidda through the district of Hausen and then catch the subway home at Industriehof or Kirchplatz (about 8 kilometers altogether).
