The city of Inhambane in Mozambique, 500km north of Maputo, is a 300 year old city on a picturesque bay. It is easy to get to Inhambane from Maputo and the roads are in a good condition. The town is very safe to run in, as are the endless coconut groves which are synonymous with the area. Endless beaches also provide a good training ground. There is more than enough accommodation in the area as it is a popular tourist destination.
