The 21k course from Farol da Barra to Sereia de Itapoan is a great choice for the long runs that we need to do while training for the marathon. The course, along Salvador seashore, is mostly flat. You run partially on the bicycle lane, partially on the sidewalk, and there are many “quiosques” where you can drink coconut water. In the summer it is suggested to choose the time when the temperature is not so high.
