There is a great place for running and walking in Fortaleza, not because of the safety and the structure, but because of the course. This place is the Parque Parreão, next to the Eng. João Tomé bus station. The course is 1 kilometer length, but there are other alternative routes since there are two bridges connecting the two sides of the main route. I have been frequenting this park for seven years and, be amazed, I already ran more than 20.000 kilometers since, on average, I run 12 kilometers six times a week.
