If you are staying in one of the three big hotels downtown (the Belarus, Planeta, or Yubileinaya), you have easy access to a wonderful trail along the Svisloch River. Turn right from the Hotel Belarus (or across the bridge and left from the other two hotels) and there is a nice, car-free 3-mile path to follow that is also popular with local runners (even in winter!). Turn left for a shorter run along the embankment.
