Although there are some nice parks in this town, you simply *must* go to the dunes and the beach at the west-side of this coast-city. For short runs you start from the suburb Scheveningen, or the suburb Kijkduin (West part of the city). In between you can run along the beach and through the chain of dunes. Over there you can also find the *tracks* of the Athletics club Haag, at the Laan van Poot. If you have the time (and the endurance) go to the broad dune-area between Scheveningen and Wassenaar (Northwest part): Meyendel. This is one of the most beautiful nature reserves of The Netherlands. You can best start from the parking-place behind the Alexander barracks.
