Wellington is the capital city of New Zealand. The most popular run in the city is around Oriental Bay. A good run is out to the point and back (about 3.5 miles return from the city centre). This is all flat. For a good hill run (and there are many in Wellington) head around Oriental Bay and look out for the tracks that head up Mt. Victoria. There is a network of tracks through the bush clad hill and the lookout at the top offers great views of the city, Hutt Valley, and on a clear day, the South Island.
