Start at Adamstown Railway Station. Run along the Fernleigh Loop Cycleway as far as Burwood Road. Run back the way you came. Beautiful bush setting, very quiet, bellbirds everywhere to be heard. There is a great restored train tunnel you run through. This is about a 6-7 kilometers run. There are no drink stations. Be warned - the run out is mostly uphill (not steep but relentless). Obviously the run back is much easier. You know you are in the city but it doesn't feel like it.
