Go for a run in the "Steiger" which is a forest on a hillside south of Erfurt. If you like to start uphill begin at the "Waldkasino", a brewery and beergarden at the northern end of the forest. Otherwise start at the "Waldhaus", another brewery and beergarden at the north-eastern end of the Steiger. There you can run staying on the top the hillside.
